Groundwork underway for new Brewster playground

Ground preparation work is underway at the site of the new Brewster playground where the old playground stood north of the Boys and Girls Club. Brewster Public Works personnel remove sod and level the spot where a 50 x 100-foot concrete border will be poured and filled with wood chips. The Brewster City Council approved funding and construction for the playground last March. Generous private donations helped make the project a reality.
