The Brewster varsity cross country team competed for its fifth consecutive time at the WIAA state championships at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco last Saturday, Nov. 4. The Bears who qualified to compete include senior Alexis Cortez, juniors Cayden Milton, Angel Rendon, and Kevin Silva, and freshmen Anthony Sanchez and Christopher Talavera. Alternates are sophomores Diego Arevalo and Diego Guzman. Brewster placed sixth in the 2022 meet. This year the Bears placed 13th with individual finishes from 21st to 105th.
