Bears close basketball season with losses to Cashmere

BREWSTER – The Bears played their final basketball game of the season in a Senior Night home stand against Cashmere last Saturday, June 19.
The varsity girls fell behind a strong Cashmere offense early and did not break into double digit scoring until the second half. The Lady Bulldogs won 54-20.
The Bears trailed Cashmere in first half cut closed within six points, 28-22 at halftime. Cashmere maintained the offensive pressure to win 82-60.
During halftime, the crowd was entertained by five lovely young ladies from the Rebecca Mae Taylor’s Academy of Dance.
