Bears, Fillies make All-League XC teams

BREWSTER – Four Bears and two Bridgeport Fillies varsity cross country runners made the list of Central Washington 2B 2019 All-League players following a recent vote of athletic directors and coaches.

Brewster senior Ricky Garcia and freshman Juan David Martinez were named to the All-League First Team. Mariam Jimenez and Catalina Martinez of Bridgeport made the All-League Second Team. Bears juniors Oscar Guzman and Lemuel Infante won Honorable Mention nods.

The Brewster varsity XC team also won the Sportsmanship award.

The Bears placed fifth in the WIAA State XC competition held on Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco, Nov. 9.
