Bears varsity players make All-League teams

BREWSTER – Senior Abi Boesel and sophomore Morgan McGuire are among eight Central Washington 2B players selected for this year’s All-League First Team. They join senior teammate Makenna Kelly and sophomore Grace Becker who are All-League Second Team picks.

Bridgeport senior Uranely Penaloza is an Honorable Mention player.

Brewster head coach Marcy Boesel is this season’s Coach of the Year.

The Bears were one of three District 6 teams along with Manson and Okanogan to qualify for the playoffs at the SunDome in Yakima last month. They lost to Liberty, defeated Walla Walla, and ended their season with a loss to eventual seventh place finishers Okanogan.
