Bears will face Okanogan for district softball championship

BREWSTER – The Bears varsity softball team is on its way to the District Championships following its 5-2 semifinal win over Lake Roosevelt at home last Friday, May 11. The girls defeated the second-ranked 9-3 Raiders, 6-5, in an April 28 doubleheader.

Brewster, currently fourth in the CW2B standings, will face No. 1 Okanogan that defeated Oroville., 12-6, last Saturday, May 12. The District Championship game will be at 4:30 p.m. in Okanogan on Tuesday, May 16. The winner of that matchup heads to state.

Oroville will face Lake Roosevelt on May 16. The loser of Brewster v. Okanogan will face the winner of Oroville vs. Lake Roosevelt High School on May 19, for the last state slot.
