BREWSTER – The Lady Bears varsity volleyball team remains within striking distance of league-leading Okanogan after a close 3-2 loss to the Lady Bulldogs on Oct. 11. Brewster owns an 8-2 league win-loss record including a 3-0 win over visiting Bridgeport last Thursday, October 14.
Head coach Marcy Boesel had some comments to share about the narrow loss to Okanogan.
“This was a fun match to be a part of with lots of momentum changes,” said Boesel. “Okanogan did a great job of competing and covering the court defensively. I felt like we had a good night from the service line and while we only had four stuff blocks on the night, we got our hands on lots of balls with our block.”
Boesel added that while the Lady Bears showed moments of great play the team will continue to work on the consistency of its offensive and defensive systems.
