Senior strong Mustangs grab early league wins

BRIDGEPORT – A varsity roster comprised of nearly a dozen seniors appears to be paying early dividends for the Mustangs varsity basketball team has won three of four Central Washington 2B league games in the early season.

Bridgeport dispatched Soap Lake, 72-24 on Dec. 5, toppled Tonasket 70.42 on Dec. 18, followed by Oroville, 63-55, on Dec. 20. Its only league loss has been to Manson, 60-53.
