Monetary donations for El Dia de Las Madres event needed

The Brewster Business Association, and the Brewster Chamber of Commerce are working together to bring the community the following event "El Dia de Las Madres" on Saturday, May 13.

The community of Brewster has had a hard couple of years, but we are ready to once again come together and celebrate with family, community members and friends"El dia de las Madres."It  will be a day that brings our surrounding communities together to celebrate the mothers in our lives. For the event we will be closing part of Main Street to host the following activities; several live bands, Mexican heritage dancers, street vendors, dancing horses and prizes for our guests.

Along with these events, the Brewster Business Association and Brewster Chamber of Commerce will elect and honor one mother who has greatly impacted our community to thank them for their involvement in our town.

We would love to make this celebration an annual event in honor of all the hard working and talented mothers in our community, but with rising costs, the event will require a lot of resources.

Some of those resources for this year's event will be coming from volunteers from our Main Street vendors, Brewster High School faculty, Students and many community members. We understand that not everyone is able to volunteer, so we are asking those who can't for sponsorships in an effort to raise donations to make this event possible. We would appreciate any and all sponsorships and would be grateful for the help in making this event possible.

We are certain that this event will bring many new visitors, which would help businesses and the local economy, and would bring a better sense of community to the town after having been through a rough couple of years due to covid.

Anything you can do to help Brewster Business Association and the Brewster Chamber of Commerce in making this event possible will be greatly appreciated. Please make Checks to: Brewster Chamber of Commerce, PO Box  1087, Brewster, WA 98812.
