Congressman Dan Newhouse, right, representing Washington State’s Fourth Congressional District, paid a visit to the group of AmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps) volunteers who were completing their tour of service with the Okanogan County Long Term Recovery Group (OCLTRG) in Pateros last Friday, July 7. This group of AmeriCorps workers is the fourth to participate with the OCLTRG campaign. Newhouse also visited a new structure built by the NCCC crew in the Black Canyon area.
