EAST WENATCHEE - As of Monday, April 27 there are 95 positive cases of COVID19 in Chelan County, up from 75 on April 20 and 73 cases in Douglas County, up from 28.  On April 21 Stemilt Ag Services reported they had proactively tested 71 asymptomatic team members at an isolated East Wenatchee site over the previous weekend. Thirty-six of those individuals tested positive for COVID-19.  There are 23 positive cases in the city of Chelan, up from 15. The counts in the following towns did not change: four in Chelan Falls, eight in Manson, one in Orondo and 11 in Waterville. There have been five deaths in Chelan County and one in Douglas County.
There are 23 confirmed cased in Okanogan county up from 14. They also reported one death last week.
Statewide total confirmed cases are 13,521 with 749 deaths.
Chelan-Douglas Health District is still seeing a high number of asymptomatic positive patients. They are working with the agricultural industry to ensure worker health and site safety.  There are also concerns on the virus spreading within the long- term care facilities, homeless population, and correctional facilities.  Social distancing is working and needs to be kept in place until current viral spread is controlled.  Wearing a mask is good, out of concern for preventing viral spread to others versus catching the virus from someone else.
