BREWSTER – Brewster Chamber of Commerce members elected new officers for year 2020 during their regular monthly meeting on Dec. 11.

Former Chamber vice-president Mike Mauk was elected president and out-going two-term president Anna Marie Dalbey was voted into the vice-president’s office. Heather Carrington was elected Chamber secretary and Mackenzie Harmier its treasurer.

Members of the Board of Directors are Julio Talavera, Rebecca Zion, and Kassia Daniels.

Three Rivers Hospital’s Business Development Coordinator Jennifer Best advised members that TRH is seeking donations of items for the hospital’s final gift basket that will be given out in January to the parents of the first baby delivered at TRH in 2020. The hospital is discontinuing its obstetrics (OB) program early next year and the staff wants to make its final first baby gift basket something special.

Best also introduced Dr. Amy Ellingson as the newest member to the TRH physician staff. Ellingson came to TRH after 17 years with the Lake Chelan Clinic.

Brewster School Superintendent Eric Driessen invited the public to use the all-weather walking track housed in the new Middle School building and now available to the community. Users sign up for an access key card at the Brewster Middle School office to gain access to the building during specified track hours. The track is open for public use from 6-7:30 a.m. and 6-9:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
