Brewster Chamber postpones Cherries Jubilee

BREWSTER – In an announcement that comes as no surprise under current conditions, the Brewster Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has voted to postpone the annual 2020 Cherries Jubilee celebration scheduled for June 20-21 until 2021. Also cancelled are the Fourth of July vendors and softball tournament.

“We feel it is in the best interest of the community and its members, during this uncertain time.” A board statement said of the event cancellations. “We will keep everyone updated as the year goes on about the rest of our events this year.”

Regular monthly Chamber meetings have also been cancelled until further notice.
