Brewster Senior Center maintaing regular hours

BREWSTER -- As of this writing, Tuesday, March 10, the Brewster-Bridgeport-Pateros Senior Center at 109 South Bridge St., in Brewster is maintaining its regular operating hours from 8 a.m. -1 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
New president Neal McKee said members recently discussed the growing concerns over the COVID-19 outbreak and have decided to take additional sanitation and disinfectant precautions with more frequent cleaning of door handles and other high-touch surfaces.
“We have not been contacted by any agency with the recommendation to close our doors,” said McKeen “so we will remain open our regular hours until we do.”
McKee added that at the suggestion of several members the Center will begin offering pinochle card games starting at 1 p.m. this Thursday, March 12, and continuing at that time on every second and fourth Tuesday and Thursday of the month.
