Bridgeport FFA plant sale blossoms May 4-5

BRIDGEPORT – The FFA Plant Sale, annual spring event that many area gardeners have been waiting for, will open the doors to the Bridgeport school greenhouse on Friday and Saturday, May 4-5.
By popular demand, this year’s selection will include more flowering baskets, said FFA advisor Adam Corum, and with a price tag of $18 for a 10-inch arrangement, each one is a buyer’s bargain. A good selection of ornamentals and vegetables will include three varieties each of peppers and tomatoes plus geraniums, petunias, impatiens, phlox, portulaca and more.
Friday, May 4 hours run from 3:45-5 p.m. The sale continues Saturday, May 5, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
