Candidate filing period open May15-19

WATERVILLE-OKANOGAN – Candidates wishing to file for elective office for one of the many positions open this year in Douglas or Okanogan counties have from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, May 15 through Friday, May 19 to submit online candidacy declarations.

The Douglas County Auditor’s website is www.douglascountywa.net/elected-offices/auditor. 

The Okanogan County Auditor’s website is www.wei.sos.wa.gov/county/okanogan.

In-person candidate filings will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 19 at the Douglas County Auditor’s Office, 213 S. Rainier Street, Waterville, and at the Okanogan County Auditor’s Office, 143 N. Third, Okanogan.

Declarations of Candidacy can also be mailed to the Douglas County Auditor’s Office at P.O.Box 456, Waterville, WA 98858 or to the Okanogan County Auditor’s Office Elections Division at P.O.Box 1010, Okanogan, WA 98840.
