Chamber members asked to donte Neal McKee Fund

Posted
BREWSTER - As some of you may know, one of our Chamber board members, Neal McKee, has recently been diagnosed with a very aggressive form of cancer.  He is supposed to be coming home on April 21 under hospice care to spend his last days with family.

Neal has been a lifelong member of this community and very active within the community as well.  Recently he has been running our local Food Bank and our Senior Center, both of which are great assets to our community.

For those of you who have been in this situation, experiencing a major illness or know of someone who has gone through this, you know there will be some big medical bills and other final expenses that insurance will not pay for.  With this in mind, we are challenging ALL of our Chamber members to donate $50 to help with their final expenses.  Our goal is $3,000.  Whatever you are able to donate will be greatly appreciated.

Checks can be made payable to Hattie McKee and sent to P.O. Box 1194, Brewster, WA 98812 or you can drop off your donation at Rusty Relic (located on the corner of Bridge St. & Indian Ave) Wednesday-Saturday, 10-5.

Please share this challenge with all of your friends and customers on Facebook.  It would be great if we could exceed our goal as I’m sure there will be other unexpected expenses.

Please do not send money or checks to the Chamber of Commerce, use the address above.
