Community Wildfire Protection Plan - Public Virtual Meetings start Sept. 15

These meetings will address the
Community Wildfire Protection
Plan being updated for Okanogan
County. The last revision was done
in 2013, prior to the wildfire disasters
of 2014 and 2015. Your insight,
recommendations and input will be
invaluable. It is our intention to
These meetings are open to the
public and will share a slideshow
presentation facilitated by Okanogan
Co. Long Term Recovery Group and
coordinated with NW Management
Inc. and Okanogan Emergency
Management.
Public input is being sought in order
to better frame the region’s efforts for
wildland fire protection, resource
enhancements and emergency preparedness.
