The Compassionate Friends meet March 14 in Brewster

BREWSTER – A support group designed to help those who have lost a loved one will meet at the at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 14, in the Brewster Ambulance Hall at 412 W. Indian Ave.
The Compassionate Friends (TCF) is a non-profit, self-help support organization for families that have experienced the death of a child or loved one, at any age, from any cause, the group’s media release said. Brewster is hosting the meeting with Wenatchee Valley Chapter leader Carol Sunada, M.S.
TCF, an international organization, was founded more than 50 years ago by a British chaplain and is today spread across 30 countries. It has more than 660 chapters serving all 50 states plus Washington, D.C.  Puerto Rico and Guam. TCF has no religious affiliations, membership fees or dues, and no employees. Volunteers fill the leadership roles.
Bereaved individuals and families can gather to discuss their experiences and emotions with those who have endured similar losses.
