Heritage Heights Assisted Living reopens visitation

CHELAN - The CDC recently issued guidance which allows visitation at long-term care facilities to resume with certain restrictions and limitations. In response to this, Heritage Heights is excited to announce their reopening plan for visitation at the community.
First and foremost, the goal is to provide a safe environment for Heritage Heights’ residents. Visitors will be allowed to visit if they, or their loved one, is fully vaccinated. Visitors will also be screened and sign an acknowledgment that they have reviewed the requirements surrounding visitation. The following reopening plan will be implemented for visitors entering the community to visit residents and is subject to change at any time:
• Family members will be able to visit residents in one-hour time slots to allow for infection control practices between visits. Heritage Heights will develop a schedule for visitation times and share it with family members.
• Residents can have up to 2 people per visit per day.
• There will be a clear entry and exit for all visitation, including a route for visitors to get to indoor/outdoor locations identified for visitation.
• Visitors must comply with all rules surrounding movement throughout the community. If at any time the community staff feels that the visits are unsafe, the community has the right to suspend visitation.
• Visitation will discontinue if an outbreak occurs at any time.
“This has been a long time coming,” said Amanda Ballou, CEO of Heritage Heights. “We are delighted to reopen visitation and look forward to welcoming our residents’ loved ones back at the community.”
If you have a loved one residing at Heritage Heights and have and questions about the reopening plan, please reach out to Amanda directly.
