Mansfield High School graduates four in Class of 2018

MANSFIELD – Celebrating its 101st year, Mansfield High School held commencement exercises for the four members of the Class of 2018 at 6 p.m. last Friday, June 8.
Graduating seniors included Salutatorian Christian Vargas, Valedictorian Riley Wisdom, Rebecca Haney, and Dallas Lowman.
Graduating eighth graders who celebrated their promotion to high school included Katelyn Donaglia, Jeremy Haney, Charleah Munson, Braydon Murison, Josh Udell, and Haley Vargas.
Dallas Lowman led the Pledge of Allegiance followed by the Invocation by Riley Wisdom.
After the welcome and eighth grade promotion ceremonies, Christian Vargas delivered the Salutatorian address.
Wisdom was up next with her Valedictory speech that led into the presentation of scholarships and awards.
Senior scholarships from various quarters totaled $18,850.

As her decorated car waiting outside revealed on its rear windshield, Haney is headed for nursing school at Wenatchee Valley College (WVC).
Vargas will study computer programming at WVC.
Wisdom will study to be a veterinarian technician at WVC.
Lowman is going to combine vocational training with farm work.
