United Methodist Holiday Bazaar raises funds for church projects

Posted

PATEROS – The annual Holiday Bazaar fundraiser organized by the United Methodist Church Women’s Ministry drew another steady stream of visitors at 124 N. Dawson last Saturday, Nov. 3.

A variety of handcrafts and custom-made products from hand soap to honey offered shoppers a range of gifts to put under the holiday tree or Christmas stocking.

Women’s Ministry spokesman Vicki Vargas said proceeds from the annual event help purchase supplies for the church kitchen and other needs. The funds also help support the church’s season foodbank that is open weekly during the winter months.

Basket winner was Betty Smith and winner of a one night stay at Howards on the River was Cherie Ruf.
