COVID-19 vaccine now available to those 16 years and older

OKANONGAN COUNTY - For those who wish to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, everyone 16 years and older is now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine as of April 15.

 If you’d like to receive the vaccine, please register with Okanogan County Vaccine Distribution here: okanogancountycovid19.org/covid-19-vaccine/ or in Spanish go to spanish.okanogancountycovid19.org/la-vacuna-covid-19/

Vaccine providers are hosting events throughout the county each week.  When registering, you may choose a preferred location and vaccine, you will then be notified when an appointment becomes available.

 The Moderna vaccine is available to those 18 and older. Pfizer is the only vaccine that is approved for those 16 years and older.  Moderna and Pfizer are a two dose vaccine.

 Any person under the age of 18 must have parental consent and be accompanied by an adult to receive the vaccine.

 When registering multiple household members, please be sure to use a separate email and/or phone number for each individual.
