The Cold Springs Canyon Pearl Hill Fire started late Sunday, Sept. 6 in the Cold Springs area put residents on Level 2. Early on Monday, Sept. 7, multiple areas were put on Level 2 and 3 evacuation notices, including the Cameron Lake Road area, City of Bridgeport and City of Mansfield. The Red Cross started a Virtual Temporary Evacuation Point (VTEP)   and persons needing shelter should contact the Red Cross 509-670-5331. Persons needing to evacuate livestock can use the Okanogan County Fair Grounds. Their number is 509-322-1621.
