Andres Garcia Hernandez - Memorial Service to be held June 9

Andres Garcia Hernandez was taken from his family way to soon at the age 51 on October 23, 2022 in Spokane, Washington.

Andres was know to his family, friends and acquaintances as Andy Hernandez.  He was born August 19, 1971 to Ysmeal L. Hernandez and Teresita (Tere) De Jesus Garcia in Hamlin, Texas.

Andy was born in Texas but was raised and grew up in Brewster, Washington.  After school he worked jobs in the sheds and orchards.  He evenually started working in Alaska on the fishing boats.  When he returned to the area he started his own towing business in the Methow Valley.
He was also know to work with his mom Tere helping out at the food bank in Omak, Washington. 
Later on Andy moved to Spokane, Washington where he would volunteer at the soup kitchens for the homeless.

Andy married Renee Robinson.  They had two children.

 Andy left behind his two children James and Christina Hernandez; and grandsons Andres, Armando and Anthony Hernandez.

Andy was proceeded in death by his father Ysmeal and mother Tere; sisters Gloria and Delores Hernandez and brother Jessie Hernandez.

Andy is survived by his son James (Maryjane Moss) Hernandez and three grandsons,  and daughter Christina, all of Spokane, Washington; brothers Ysmeal (Jr.) Hernandez  of Bear Lake, Michigan,  Freddie (Shawna) Hernandez of Conway, Arkansas;  Diego (Lisa) Garcia of Omak, Washington and sister Herlinda (Linda) and Kacy Goble of Boise Idaho.

There will be a Memorial Service for family and friends at the Locust Grove Cemetery in Brewster, Washington, 12 p.m., on Friday, June 9, 2023.
