Grace Cavazos

On Tuesday March 3, 2020, Grace Cavazos loving wife and mother passed away at her home in Brewster, Wa.  She was 65.
Grace was born November 28, 1954 in Raymondville, Texas to Julian and Eva Garcia.  Grace worked for Spider Riggan at his cookhouse, and as a sorter and packer at the Apple House for 10 years.  She worked at the Omak Walmart as well, as a people greeter and cashier. During the Carlton Fire, Grace volunteered many hours at the community center to help her friends and neighbors, by passing out water, food,  clothing, and supplies in their time of need, she loved giving back to her community. She was a great fisherman and outdoors person and loved to go camping with her family.  

Grace was also a big arts and craft maker and seller.  She crafted for over 30 years, attending bizarres from Omak to Winthrop.

February 5, 1975, she married the love of her life Cecil Cavazos Sr.  They raised two daughters, Cindy Cavazos and Maryann Shiflett and a son Cecil Cavazos Jr.

She is survived by her husband Cecil Sr.,  two daughters and one son, Cindy, Maryann, Cecil Jr and her 10 grandchildren.

Services have been postponted until April. That service date to be announced at a late time.
