LeRoy George Beadell of Wenatchee, Wash., passed away peacefully on March 12, 2019, in the presence of his loving wife, Donna, and son, Claude. Roy grew up in Seattle, Wash., but spent many summers at his Grandpa Fuller’s in Pateros, Wash.
He joined the Navy at a young age and spent most of his service in the South Pacific during WWII. He met his wife, Donna, in 1959, and had just celebrated 59 years of marriage. They eventually settled in Woodinville, Wash., where he was employed for 26 years with King County. Upon retirement, Roy and Donna moved to Bridgeport, Wash., and then to Wenatchee in 2016.
LeRoy is survived by his wife, Donna; sister, Betty Grittman; children: Lynn (Steve) Schaaf, Sandy Beadell, Laurie Beadell, and Claude Beadell; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Esther Beadell; brothers: Claude Jr., and Robert; sister, Joyce Hineline; and son, LeRoy Jr. “Corky”.
A Graveside Service will be planned this spring, at the Pateros Cemetery in Pateros, Wash.
