Posted

Marilyn Lea Bellamy, 63, of Methow, Washington passed away peacefully at home after a grueling year long battle with cervical cancer, on October 24, 2020. Born March 23, 1957 in Winslow, Washington. She is the daughter of the late Lyle “Jack” Heath and Mary Dunbar Heath Webb of Methow. She is also survived by her husband of 32 years, Brian Wesley Bellamy; son Joshua Bleu Johanson of Twisp, daughter Heather (Bobby) Brooks of Nampa, Idaho; granddaughter Erin Knight of Nampa; brother Craig (Lisa) Heath of Port Angeles; nieces Jessica (Glenn) Hanna and Rachel Heath; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Lyle Lea Heath and all grandparents.

Marilyn grew up in Poulsbo, Washington then moved to the Methow Valley around age 21.

Thirteen years ago, she started a career she longed to do – Home Health Care. She always felt God had specific purpose and timing for each client / family that she was entrusted. She marveled at how truly blessed she was that God continued to spoil her with amazing people. Her last client, soon became friend, she had the privilege of caring for the past 10 years. Here she got to serve the Lord thru serving others.

She loved spending time with friends and family, going for weekly drives with her husband to look for bears and the annual trips to her daughter’s place in Idaho, that included 2 weeks packed full of fun… including Zoo Boise, Roaring Spring Water Park, Chuck E. Cheese and Idaho Bear World. She was full of life, loved by all and will be thoroughly missed!

A graveside service at the Methow Cemetery for family, will follow in the spring.
