Marjorie Leone Lilly (Kropp)

Marjorie Leone Lilly (Kropp), 96, of Bridgeport, Wash., passed away at home Dec. 10, 2017 surrounded by family.

Marjorie was born in a house in Bridgeport on Jan. 2, 1921, along with her twin brother Joseph Kropp. They grew up on Dyer Hill in Bridgeport and as children they explored every inch of that hill. She was famous for her combine driving and she was a life long farmer.

On December 31, 1947 she married Clinton Lilly and they were married for 59 years until his passing in 2007. They had 4 children.

Marjorie was known for her generosity and kindness, but most importantly she was known for her love of Jehovah. In 1956 she was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and enjoyed many years in the full time ministry as a pioneer and was a faithful servant of Jehoavh up until her death.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son Phillip and husband Clinton.

She is survived by  her brother Joseph Kropp of Bridgeport, son John (J.W.) Troutman of Bridgeport, daughter Lanna Goehry (husband Ted) of Brewster, and daughter Laura Lilly of Bridgeport; grandchildren, Lee Stocker (wife Sherry), Steve Stocker (wife Tammy), Caleb Goehry (wife Hannah), Kacena (husband Daniel) and 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren

Memorial Services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 805 Highway 173 Brewster, Wash. Saturday, Dec. 16, at 1 p.m.
