Norma Elizabeth (Button) Rogahn

Norma Elizabeth (Button) Rogahn was born January 1, 1923 to Mabel (Washburn) Button and Glenn Button at their homestead in the Methow Valley.  Norma passed away on August 20, 2017 in Mojave, California. 

She attended school at Gold Creek, Methow, and graduated from Pateros High School in 1939.  After taking post graduate courses in shorthand and typing she took a short business course at Wenatchee Business College.  She began working in the office of Methow-Pateros Growers in 1941 until 1943 when she married Richard “Dick” Rogahn. 

Norma and Dick lived at Holden until he was called back into the Army.  They had one son, Richard “Butch” Rogahn.  Norma went back to work at Methow-Pateros Growers in 1951 and worked until her retirement in 1985.  Both Dick and Butch preceded her in death. 

  Norma is survived by her sister, Elaine Nickell; two grandchildren, Richelle Pulos and Rick Rogahn; and three great-grandchildren. 

Norma will be put to rest in Pateros, Washington beside her husband and son.
