EAST WENATCHEE - Douglas County PUD Commissioners Aaron J. Viebrock, Molly Simpson and Ronald E. Skagen executed the following actions during the January 11, 2021 Commission meeting held at the District's East Wenatchee office:

Authorized surplus and salvage of Distribution transformers, regulator and capacitor. These items are no longer in use and or they were damaged in the Pearl Hill fire.

Approved change order No. 1 to contract 20-02-D, reconductor and rebuild the Rocky Reach to Chelan Falls No.1 115kV line.  The change includes restoring the transmission line early due to reliability concerns during the Pearl Hill Fire, quantity adjustments and an adjustment for remaining work. This will increase the contract $200,493.60 and extend the contract to April 15, 2022.

Awarded contract 20-26-W, 2021-2022 heavy equipment services for the Wells Hydroelectric Project to Smith Excavation the lowest responsive bidder.

Authorized addendum No. 3 to bid document 20-27-W, 2021-2022 forebay debris removal services for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. This increases the not-to-exceed amount and provides clarifications.

Authorized the City of Brewster 2021 Operations and Maintenance budget for recreation facilities. The District's portion is $71,417 and is required by the Wells Project license. 

Approved the City of Pateros 2021 Operations and Maintenance budget for recreation facilities. The District's portion is $71,417 and is required by the Wells Project license.

The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. January 25, sat the District's East Wenatchee Office. The District Office is closed to the public in response to the COVID-19 guidance from Governor Inslee.
