EAST WENATCHEE - Douglas County PUD Commissioners Ronald E Skagen, Molly Simpson and Aaron J. Viebrock executed the following actions during the April 22, 2019 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee office:

Opened bids under bid document 19-09-W, replacement 14.4 kV main generator breakers for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. The bids will be evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.

Heard the bid opening results under bid document 19-03-D, East Wenatchee facilities roof membrane replacement. The bids will be evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.

Heard the bid opening results under bid document 19-10-D, install circuit switcher and foundations at Terry Substation. The bids will be evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.

Authorized adjustments to certain technical, professional and administrative salaries. An adjustment to salaries of 3% and other adjustments to recognize promotions, performance, responsibility and job market trends are necessary to continue to attract and retain a qualified workforce. (19-046)

Approved a rate adjustment for the professional service agreement with Electrical Consultants, Inc. This agreement allows for the fee schedule to be negotiated annually to reflect any increase in the cost of doing business. (19-047)

Authorized award of contract 19-03-D, East Wenatchee facilities roof membrane replacement to Spokane Roofing Company, LLC the lowest responsive bidder. (19-048)

Approved award of contract 19-10-D, install circuit switcher and foundations at Terry Substation to KVA Electric, INC the lowest responsive bidder. (19-049)

Authorized negotiation of a professional service agreement with Perteet in response to RFQ 19-17-D professional engineering services for completing the design and construction management of the Rapids-Columbia 230 kV Transmission Line Project. (19-050)

Approved acceptance of work and final payment to KRCI under contract 16-32-W, 2017-2018 forebay debris removal services for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. All work is complete and determined to meet bid specifications. (19-051)

Authorized acceptance of work and final payment to KRCI under contract 16-33-W, 2017-2018 heavy equipment services for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. All work is complete and determined to meet bid specifications. (19-052)

Approved Northwest Power Pool superseding Western Frequency Response Sharing Group implementation agreement. This makes the agreement “evergreen” in nature and addresses admission and withdrawal of members. (19-053)

The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. May 13, 2019 at the District’s East Wenatchee office.
