Douglas County PUD Commission Report

EAST WENATCHEE - Douglas County PUD Commissioners Ronald E Skagen, Molly Simpson and Aaron J. Viebrock executed the following actions during the Feb. 11, 2019 Commission meeting held at the District's East Wenatchee office:
Awarded Purchasing Clerk Trina Sorrell-Biggar with her twenty-year service award. Commissioner Simpson thanked Trina on behalf of the citizens of Douglas County for her years of service. Trina recalled the different positions she has held at the District and thanked the Commission.

Approved acceptance of work and final payment to Scott Engineering, Inc. under contract 18-30-D, supply and deliver seven 15KV, 600 AMP Padmount Switchgear. All work is complete and determined to meet bid specifications. (19-016)

Authorized a call for bids under bid document 19-03-D, East Wenatchee facilities roof membrane replacement. (19-017)

Approved acceptance of work and final payment to Irrigation Technology and Control, Inc. for the second year under contract 16-25-W, hatchery well and pump maintenance. All work is complete and determined to meet bid specifications. (19-018)

Authorized renewal of contract 16-32-W, heavy equipment services for an additional one-year period with KRCI, LLC. as allowed by contract. (19-019)

Approved renewal of contract 16-33-W, forebay debris removal services for an additional one-year period with KRCI, LLC. as allowed by contract. (19-020)

Authorized a professional service agreement with Greisen Aerospace, LLC. under contract 18-06-W, engineering services for modifications to the trashrack lifting beams at the Wells Hydroelectric Project. (19-021)

Approved a call for bids under bid document 19-09-W, replacement 14.4 KV main generator breakers at the Wells Hydroelectric Project. The original generator air circuit breakers at the Wells Hydroelectric Project have reached the end of their life expectancy and spare parts are difficult to obtain. (19-0220)

Authorized reliability coordinator services agreement with California Independent System Operator Corporation as required by the North American Electric Reliability Corporation.(19-023)

Approved the renewal of non-owned aircraft liability insurance with Starr Aviation. (19-024)

Heard a report on the Douglas County Community Network. The network currently has 4,702 end users.

Cancelled the February 25, 2019 Commission Meeting due to Commission travel schedules.

The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. March 11, 2019 at the District's East Wenatchee office.
