Second bingo day added

Bingo is held the second Tuesday and the third Wednesday of the month at 1 p.m. Please bring a small inexpensive item to serve as a prize.

Senior Center Thrift Store is open Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. If you have items to donate please bring them to the back door (door closet to Main Street).

AA group

"Free At Last"!, an Alcoholics Anonymous group meets in Brewster. Meetings are Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m., at Brewster Grange Hall. All meetings are "open".

PATEROS

Pateros Chamber to meet

The Pateros Chamber of Commerce will hold their monthly meeting on Wednesday, May 4, 8:30 a.m., in the Pateros Fire Hall. Business owners and the general public are encouraged to attend. For information, Joni Parks at 509-670-8185.

Community Resource Center

The Pateros Brewster Community Resource Center, located at 169 Pateros Mall, Suite A, is a locally based nonprofit organization that provides infrastructure for behavioral/mental health, case management, and other social services, for residents of Pateros and Brewster. Currently hosting the Carlton Complex Disaster Case Management at 509-923-1979. In addition, counseling services through Okanogan Behavioral Healthcare will soon be offered. The long term goal is to purchase a permanent facility, hire an executive director and staff, and increase community access to a wide variety of social services. Donations are appreciated. Bridgeport

Wednesday bingo

Bridgeport Eagles hosts bingo every Wednesday. Dinner is served at 5 p.m., bingo begins at 7 p.m., with dinner available until the bingo is over. Everyone is welcome.

Class reunion

Wildfires by John Marshall

Wildfires: A Historical and Modern Perspective, with John Marshall will be presented, Tuesday, April 19, 7 p.m., at the Chelan Public Library. Wildfire has shaped North Central Washington landscapes since the dawn of time. Join photographer John Marshall in learning how we came to experience the horrific fires of the last two years, and how we have to learn to live with fire. Celebrate Recovery meetings

Lake Chelan Celebrate Recovery Meets every Thursday at Living Stone Church, 2133 West Woodin Avenue. Dinner is at 6 p.m., cost is $3. Group meeting at 6:30 p.m., followed by gender-specific small groups. Celebrate Recovery is a confidential, Biblically-based 12 step program for anyone struggling with addiction, co-dependency, gambling, relationships and other life issues. Dog temperament tests

A Dog Temperament Test, Canine Good Citizen Test and Therapy Dog International Test will be on Saturday, April 23, 9 a.m check in. This is for all dogs and breeds over 1 year old, and is sponsored by the Wenatchee Kennel Club, a non profit group. Cost is $10-$30 dollars, depending on which tests. Wenatchee Valley Renaissance Faire

Come enter a Medieval Kingdom and experience the magic of a faire the weekend of April 30 and May 1, in the West Field at the Wenatchee Valley College. It will be a Medieval Marketplace filled with horses, knights, ladies, gypsies, minstrels and even pirates. Come experience the joy of shooting an arrow, watch the joust or be awed by an ogre, a fawn, fairies and fire breathing. There's something for all ages.
