Brewster Ag/Ed plant sale offers online orders

BREWSTER – In spite of the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, the Brewster High School Agriculture Education class found a creative way for patrons to once again participate in the school’s popular spring plant sale. This year the Brewster High School Ag/Ed 2021 Plant Sale is available for online orders at the Brewster School District Facebook site where buyers can not only place their orders from among 37 varieties of flowers but also schedule a pickup appointment as well.

Customers can peruse a list of flower varieties and colors including:

Lobelia

Portulaca

Alyssum

White, red, or blue petunias

Red or white geraniums

Five varieties of verbena

Calibrachoa Million Bells

Marguerite Daisy

Osteospermum

Six varieties of specialty petunia

Sweet potato vine

Dracena

Lavender

Multi-color Million Bells baskets

Pickup appointments began last Friday, April 30, and ran through Saturday, May 1. During the week of May 3-7 purchasers can email Ag instructor Todd Dezellem at tdezellem@brewsterbears.org. The class will advise potential purchasers by phone or email about quantities available and to schedule pickup times.
