Brewster school presents 6-12 grade Christmas concert

Pateros band joins in

BREWSTER – More than 200 students, including some from the Pateros High School band, performed in the annual Brewster School 6-12 grade Christmas concert on Dec. 11 in the Brewster Middle School Gym.

Brewster music instructor Alicia Pulsifer, recent recipient of the Regional Outstanding Music Educator Award, conducted the concert. The award from the Washington Music Educators Association recognizes an individual for performing outstanding work bringing music into the lives of students.

The concert audience was treated to both choir and band numbers featuring performances from each grade level. Student participation by grade level included: Sixth grade: Band-31 Choir-21; Seventh grade: Band-34, Choir-17; Eighth grade: Band-20, Choir-22 and High School: Band-32, Choir-18 Band-126, Choir-78
