Mansfield FFA records largest Christmas Wreath fundraiser

MANSFIELD – The COVID pandemic may have thrown a few obstacles in the path of the fast-starting go-getters among Mansfield High School’s FFA students, but it could not dampen the eighth annual Christmas Wreath fundraiser that was the largest so far for the class.

Advisor Jamey Jo Steele said that 10 members of the 2020 class raised and sold livestock at last year’s North Central Washington Fair in Waterville including six hogs, three goats, and a steer.

Steele said that with only the third week of having students back in the school building, 17 of those are FFA members. They include:
