Pateros loses non-league battles at Oroville

PATEROS – The Billygoats varsity basketball team met its match in a 30-point, 76-46, road loss to the Central Washington 2B Oroville Hornets in non-league action on Wednesday, Dec. 20. But the Nannies almost pulled out a win against the larger 2B Lady Hornets who squeaked by with a three-point, 29-26, win.
Both the Billygoats and Nannies share 1-0 CW1B league records with Moses Lake Christian with the first six games of the season behind them.
Pateros hosts back-to-back games at home on Wednesday, Dec. 27 against Manson, and Thursday, Dec. 28 against Bridgeport. Girls play at 6 p.m. and boys at 7:30 p.m.
