Samperio, Plimpton make SFCC honor roll

SPOKANE – Jose Samperio of Brewster and John Plimpton of Bridgeport are among 1,934 students at Spokane Falls Community College to make the honor roll for SFCC’s 2019 fall quarter. The fall quarter which ended in December required a grade point average of 3.0 or better to qualify for honor roll status.
“SFCC is one of two community colleges within the Community Colleges of Spokane district and serves about 8,400 students,” said an SFCC media release. “It is renowned for its theater, music and fine arts as well as exceptional STEM programs.”
More than half of SFCC graduates transfer to four-year colleges and universities, the release noted.
SFCC has campuses in west Spokane, Fairchild Air Force Base and Pullman.
Community Colleges of Spokane is a dynamic, 12,300-square-mile state community college district that includes Spokane Community College, Spokane Falls Community College and six rural education sites, serving residents in Pend Oreille, Stevens, Whitman, Ferry and parts of Lincoln counties. They offer high-quality academic transfer, career-technical and eLearning degree and certificate programs; business and community training; and adult literacy programs throughout northeastern Washington, enrolling approximately 34,000 students a year.
