Douglas County Commissioner Straub now on Upper Columbia Salmon Recovery Board

The Upper Columbia Salmon Recovery Board (UCSRB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Orondo's Marc Straub to its five-member board.

For the last 16 years Douglas County Commissioner Straub has served as Executive Director of Building North Central Washington, a non-profit trade association headquartered in Wenatchee. His previous experiences include small business ownership and management.
Straub studied business finance and economics at Central Washington University. His hobbies include camping, fishing, hunting and hiking.

About the UCSRB

UCSRB's mission is to restore viable and sustainable populations of salmon, steelhead and other at-risk species. Its board is comprised of three county commissioners, one each from Chelan, Douglas and Okanogan counties, one member from the Yakama Nation and one from the Colville Confederated Tribes.
