Brewster Chamber elects 2025 officers

BREWSTER – The Chamber of Commerce Board met on Wednesday, Dec. 11, to vote on its 2025 officers, restructure meeting times, and begin work on the coming year's events calendar.

New officers include:

President: Anna-Marie Dalbey

Vice President: Elizabeth Shepard

Secretary: Betty Martinez

Treasurer: Maribel Saucedo

Director 1: Miguel Campos

Director 2: Kim Camacho

While the monthly meeting day will remain the second Wednesday of the month, the time has been changed from 6 p.m. to 12 noon. The designated meeting site is still under consideration at this writing.

A few changes are coming to the 2025 events calendar with some additions and deletions, but which exactly are still under discussion. The current 2024 events calendar includes:

February: Path to the Podium Basketball Tournament
May: Mother’s Day
June: Culpepper & Meriweather Circus
July: July 4th parade, vendors, & fireworks
August: Brewster King Salmon Derby
August: Jamaica Days
September: Boys and Girls Club car show
September: Brewster Thunderfest hydro races
September: 9/11 remembrance.

September: Mexican Independence Day
October: Halloween costume contest - Trick or Treat down Main Street.
November: Dia de Los Muertos
November: Small Business Saturday

November: Christmas tree lighting with Santa.

November: Best of the Best Brewster awards
December: Posadas
