Class of 2023 graduates Bridgeport High School

Twenty-four 12-year seniors

BRIDGEPORT – Family and friends, many trailing orange and black balloons, were a dead giveaway that something significant was going down at Bridgeport High School last Friday, June 2.

At 5 p.m. 36 capped and gowned seniors took the stage for graduation ceremonies of the Class of 2023.

Senior Lesly Valdovinos-Arevalo welcomed the crowd, introduced the Senior Slide Show, and the speakers on the afternoon’s program.

Principal Tamra Jackson introduced the members of the Bridgeport School Board followed by Paula Arno-Martinez from the Wenatchee Valley College Board of Trustees who a guest speaker.

Valedictorian Emma Elizabeth Oswald and Salutatorian Idania Floribel Garcia-Olea took their turns at the podium followed by class president Areli Espinobarros.

Jackson presented each student with a diploma. Superintendent Scott Sattler and School Board Chairman Paul Ebreo presented the class.

Graduating with scholastic honors are Emma Elizabeth Oswald, Idania Floribel Garcia-Olea, Angelica Hernandez-Cruz, Brandy Denisse Valdovinos, and Lesly Valdovinos-Arevalo.

Graduating with an Associate of Arts degree from WVC are Emma Elizabeth Oswald, Idania Floribel Garcia-Olea, Areli Espinobarros, Angelica Hernandez Cruz, Anette Orozco Olalde, Brandy Denisse Valdovinos, and Lesly Valdovinos Arevalo.

Twelve-year seniors include Crystal Bejar-Arevalo, Ashley Campos Oregon, Noel Espino, Marco Julian Garcia, Neida Gonzalez, Ofer Uriel Gutierrez, Angelica Hernandez-Cruz, Atzyri Yarelly Hernandez-Reyes, Jorge David Herrera-Sanchez, Michelle Herrera, Cristan Ulises Lopez, Lizabeth Monje-Gonzalez, Marisa Jean Morales, Lesli Guadalupe Moreno, Anette Orozco-Olalde, Freddy Parbol Valdovinos, Jose Armando Pio, Yadhira Trejo-Bernal, Aracely Valdovinos-Quintana, Casandra Valdovinos-Solorzano, Lesly Valdovinos-Martinez, Perla Cecilia Valdovinos-Martinez, and Jose Julian Xhurape-Lopez.
