Nominated for Best Musical in the 2017 Manchester Theatre Awards, The Wind in the Willows, is based on the classic 1908 children’s novel by Kenneth Grahame. The story follows Mole, Ratty and Badger throughout a year as they try to help their friend, Mr. Toad, out of the trouble caused by his obsession with the new and exciting motorcar. This musical includes several vignette style musical numbers sung by families of forest critters. They encourage musical families to audition for these roles. Auditions will take place at Okanogan High School on Saturday, November 19, at 9 a.m. Please prepare a song that showcases your singing ability and an English accent.
