Brewster Chamber to meet

Senior meals served Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday at Senior Center and home delivery

BREWSTER – The Senior Center is now serving meals at Noon, at the center on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Home delivered meals are delivered those same days. Please call 509-689-2815 to reserve meals. Suggested donation for those over age 60 is $4. For those 60 and under the cost is $10. September 13: Chili, Green Salad, Spiced Salad, Pears, Cornbread, Dessert; September 15; Clam Chowder, 1/2 Turkey Sandwich, Coleslaw, V-8 Juice, Fresh Fruit, WW Crackers, Dessert; September 19: Baked Fish, Wild Rice, Green Beans, Cucumber Salad, Tropical Fruit, WW Roll, Dessert; September 20: Mac & Cheese with Bacon, Peas & Carrots, Tossed Salad, Watermelon

Senior Center Thrift Store

BREWSTER – The Brewster- Pateros-Bridgeport Senior Center Thrift Store is open Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Check out their great kids section. Donations accepted when they are open. They are also the Brewster Visitor Information Center and the Brewster Chamber of Commerce meeting room.

Hoedown  Fundraiser September 16

Last chance to pre-purchase your tickets to the Hope Hoedown. Kick up your boots and join us on Saturday, September 16, at Chelan Valley Farms 4-8 p.m. There will be live music from Miller Campbell band, a fun, western-themed interactive photo booth, and a Kid's Korral area with games, face painting, and coloring. Dooley Dogs and Taqueria Mazatlan, as well as Kettle Corn, and a no-host bar, including beer, wine, and mocktails, will be available. A raffle will feature hundreds of local items, gift cards, certificates, and more. A local artist will do live painting, creating a customizable scenery picture, which will go with several other big-ticket items in the silent auction. Other activities include a "Jail & Bail" game, where participants can be "arrested" and "bailed out" for a donation to Hope. Brewster bus trips

BREWSTER – OCTN takes Brewster area resident to Wenatchee, second Thursday of the month. That next trip is September 14. The bus starts picking folks up at their homes at 7:30 a.m. Riders may request  destination(s); medical appointments etc. On the third Thursday of each month, September 21 riders will be taken to Omak for the day. Riders request their destination(s). Wenatchee: $12/boarding for General Public, $6 suggested donation/day for Seniors (60 plus).
