Culpepper & Merriweather raises the Big Top in Brewster.

BREWSTER – The Culpepper & Merriweather Circus rolled into town for two performances last Saturday evening, June 4.

Earlier in the day the Big Top tent started going up in The Armory parking lot as Sixth and Main and the midway was ready to receive the public by 4 p.m. Attractions included pony rides, giant slide, bounce houses, face painting, concessions, and more as the box office opened for those who had not already purchased advance tickets.

The first show as held at 5 p.m. followed by a second performance at 7:30 p.m. At its last appearance in 2019 the Culpepper & Merriweather drew some of its largest crowds at Brewster during its 32-week summer tour that stops at more than 200 cities across 17 states.
