Master Gardener plant clinic to resume at Wenatchee Library

Posted

WENATCHEE — The WSU Chelan-Douglas Master Gardener Program will resume weekly in-person Plant Clinic hours beginning Feb. 23 at the Wenatchee Public Library.

The clinic will operate from 1 to 4 p.m. every Monday in the Sagebrush Meeting Room at the library, 310 Douglas St. The clinic will not operate on Monday holidays when the library is closed.

WSU Master Gardener diagnosticians provide services free of charge.

The clinic allows community members to seek assistance with plant and garden concerns. The Master Gardener diagnosis team can help identify plant problems and garden pests and recommend solutions for maintaining healthy plants and managing pests.

Participants are asked to bring a sample of the insect or plant in question, along with photographs and any relevant background information.

Questions may also be submitted by email to askamastergardener@chelandouglasmg.org. Individuals should include their name and phone number so a diagnostician can follow up if additional information is needed.

Additional information about Plant Clinic services is available at bit.ly/mgplantclinic or by calling the WSU Chelan County Extension office at 509-667-6540.
