Posted

BRIDGEPORT — A months-long King County narcotics investigation with ties to Bridgeport led to multiple arrests and substantial drug seizures Monday during coordinated search warrant operations in Bridgeport, Lynnwood, and Kirkland.

According to a release from Undersheriff Tyler Caille, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office assisted King County Sheriff’s Office personnel in the Bridgeport portion of the operation, which was part of “Operation Eastbound and Down.” The investigation was led by the King County Sheriff’s Office Precinct 4 Special Emphasis Team (SET).

Caille said King County detectives had spent several months investigating a regional supplier based in Bridgeport who, along with an accomplice, was allegedly receiving more than 100 pounds of narcotics every few weeks. Those drugs were then distributed to dealers across King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties.

As part of Monday’s operation, detectives executed search warrants at the three locations. Across all sites, investigators reported seizing:

  • 70.55 pounds of methamphetamine

  • 16 pounds of fentanyl powder

  • 6.83 pounds of heroin

  • 1.67 pounds of cocaine

  • One handgun

  • One vehicle used in drug distribution

  • $83,652 in suspected drug proceeds

  • Four arrests

The narcotics have an estimated street value of approximately $1.3 million, according to the release.

Caille said Douglas County deputies provided support during the Bridgeport warrant service and thanked the King County Sheriff’s Office for its leadership and coordination throughout the case.
