Thirty-two year old Brewster woman charged with Vehicular Homicide

BREWSTER - On Sunday, May 29, 2022 at about 10:13 p.m Okanogan 
County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a female arriving at a 
residence on Old Highway 97 who was screaming and stating that 
someone was dying in the pond.

Okanogan County Sheriff’s Deputy Gonzalez responded to the scene, 
along with Sgt. Nichols, Brewster Police Department, and Deputy 
 Lopez, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office. They located a vehicle 
 submerged in a pond.

At about 1:16 a.m. the vehicle was removed from the pond and a 6-
year-old boy was located deceased inside the vehicle.

>  During the investigation, Deputy Gonzalez developed probable cause 
> the driver was impaired on intoxicants. Infante-Penaloza, Llesenia, 
> 32-year-old female, from Brewster, was booked into Okanogan County 
> Correction Center for Vehicular Homicide.
