Three Rivers Hospital will conduct active shooter drills

BREWSTER – Three Rivers Hospital (TRH) will hold active shooter drills on Thursday, March 20, and has issued an advisory to community members. The following media alert was prepared by Jennifer Best, TRH Business Development Coordinator& Public Records Officer:

As part of our ongoing commitment to safety and emergency preparedness, Three Rivers Hospital in Brewster will be conducting active shooter drills on Thursday, March 20, beginning at 7:30 a.m. and continuing through the morning. 

These exercises build on the video training our staff and providers completed last year and are designed to enhance our readiness in emergency situations. While the drills will take place in various areas of our facility, patient care will not be disrupted.

We are notifying our community partners of this planned exercise to prevent any unnecessary concern.
