Posted

WENATCHEE — Nonprofits and public schools in Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties can now apply for up to $5,000 in funding through the 2025 Woods Family Music and Arts Grant cycle. Applications are open from Aug. 1 through Sept. 30.

Established in 2011, the grant supports projects and operations that enhance music and arts opportunities in North Central Washington. Administered by the Community Foundation of North Central Washington, the program aims to increase equitable access to arts and culture, particularly for youth and underrepresented audiences, and to celebrate the region’s cultural heritage.

"This grant represents our continued commitment to fostering the arts in our communities," said Jennifer Short, director of community grants. "We're incredibly grateful to work with the Woods family and deeply appreciate their continued dedication to enhance arts access in our region.”

Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofits, government entities, public schools, and qualifying religious organizations. Organizations without nonprofit status must work with a fiscal sponsor. Schools are limited to one application per building and one district-wide request per cycle. Funds must be used within one year, and recipients must submit final evaluation reports.
